Join Meg for an exciting, hands-on experience as you craft a beautiful functional slab mug—each one uniquely made with love by you! Your handcrafted mug will quickly become your new go-to coffee companion.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and a fantastic introduction to hand-building with clay. Packed with opportunities to unleash your creativity and have a blast!Important Information:

• This workshop is for 18+

• Minimum of 3 participants is required for the class to run with a maximum of 8

• Workshop is approximately 2hrs long with 30 minutes of that time allotted for cleanup.

• All decorating tools and templated provided

• Clay provided

• Your piece will be bisque fired for you

• Your piece will be glazed and fired for you

• Choose between 3 glaze colours

Everyone will receive a large slab of clay with enough to create one mug. If you have extra clay and time, feel free to experiment by crafting a small bowl or tea bag rest to go with your new mug.

Utilize textures and tools to give your piece a unique and personalized touch—there are no limits to your creativity!

• Register:

  Sign up online by checking out through this page, you must provide your information and payment in full at checkout to register for this class.

• What to wear:

  wear clothes that you can get muddy in! Aprons will NOT be provided, so don't come to class in your Sunday best. Leave jewelry; bracelets, rings, necklaces at home!

  Trim your nails

  - there is nothing worse than finishing a piece only to gouge it with a long nail and have it destroyed!

• Clean-Up:

  Everyone lends when it's time for clean up and you are responsible for cleaning your space as much as possible.

• What to Bring:

  Texture! While some texture tools will be provided, feel free to bring your own such as leaves, flowers, lace, doilies, ect. These can make your mug one of a kind and add visual interest.
