Indie Head massage is based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system focused on muscles and connective tissue of the face, neck, scalp and shoulders. Techniques aim to promote relaxation while easing muscle pain and can be soothing and invigorating. [Please note, this is different from an Indian Head Massage which uses specific oils based on a detailed assessment.] During this treatment massage and fascial techniques will be used on the scalp, neck and shoulders. (Option for warm oil to be used) Suitable for: Those seeking to reduce stress, improve tissue health and circulation. Useful for treating migraines, sinus inflammation and anxiety. Reflexology is one of the safest and least invasive alternative therapeutic practices available. Reflexology is a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body which correspond to and are relative to all parts, glands and organs of the entire body. During a foot reflexology session your feet will be cleaned and then dry techniques are used. After both feet have been treated, lotion will be applied (optional). Suitable for: Those seeking a holistic approach and relaxation. Improved quality sleep and promotes overall health. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A Reiki healing session will include hands placed on or above various areas on the front and back of the body. The seven main energy centers (Chakras) will be assessed, cleansed & balanced. Suitable for: Those feeling low energy and lacking motivation. Seeking to promote and accelerate the body's own natural ability to heal, restore and repair. Aid in sleep, reduce stress and release negative energy.
